It was a good Valentine’s day. I’m single, I worked ten hours and I have to get up for school at 8am tomorrow„ but yeah…I haven’t enjoyed one this much for awhile. I baked cookies (fridge dough, nothing fancy), we did a V-Day exchange at work, hung out with a couple coworkers for the lunch hour, and came hope to my awesome little sister’s gift bag that she made...
Just a reminder, all the decent commercials will be on Youtube.

Seriously, when you’re one of only five students who are putting forth any effort…
I swear, if I don’t get a decent grade on all this stupid work in my Composition II class, I’m getting my poetry published in as many journals as possible.
And I will pay for an extra copy of each one.
And I will hand-deliver them to my professor’s office, bookmarked.
This is...
The nice thing about shotgun weddings: the bride can forever say that her wedding dress still fits.
the Poodle is a Hoarder
My sister is cleaning out our dog’s bed, and she found our poodle’s favorite things: zip ties, , crumpled-up origami and a bugle (chip).
We haven’t had Bugles in a couple weeks.
Ugh. So for my Comp II class, we have to log on to the Blackboard site by each weekend, write a couple of 200-word replies to writing prompts, and go on our merry little way. Not that difficult.
Four of us actually did it. Four. Out of 30 students…four. I mean, goddammit, people. I have to lead a class discussion for half-an-hour with these deadbeats.
Pretty sure this would be easier in a...

that one girl at work
At first, she seems kinda cute.
Then she starts talking about her cats.
Then she keeps talking about her cats.
Then she won’t stop talking about her freaking cats.
Then she dumps everything on her coworkers, just to leave early on a busy night.
Presumably to be with her cats.
She’s not young enough or pretty enough to be the wife of the President....

Oh man.
My last post was six seven months ago. Hah.
I remember when this site was my cocaine. I’d sit around in this little old house and enter that repost-with-a-snarky-comment pattern. Also, Obama. Lots and lots of Obama.
So an update would be the decent thing to do, right? Right.
The thumbnail to the left was taken almost three years ago, with the camera of a t629. I had just moved to Tulsa,...

An update, I guess.
The old car is sitting in the driveway. Can’t figure out whether I want to scrap it or fix it (sorta) myself.
BUT, I bought a 1999 Camry with 107k miles, all driven by a little grandmother. And it was only three grand.
…and another BUT. That grandmother is almost certainly dead by now. I technically bought it from her friends who were paying her funeral costs,...

Bleh.
My Ford Taurus is pretty much dead. Blown head gasket, and that would cost $1500+ to fix. This comes on what would’ve been the fifth 12-hour workday this week, as my shift leader is recovering from a heart attack.
But my brother graduated tonight, so we’ll have a party tomorrow. Also, I finally have an opportunity to pick a nice vehicle. I have a much larger budget, and can...

Ahh! What are you going to do?
That…sucks. I wish they would come to my church. We’ve got better things to do than waste our time on them. Besides, my church is AWESOME.
They don’t come down to Oklahoma anymore…hehehehe.
The fact that people seem to be celebrating the...

I’m not at all saying he was a good guy, I just prefer the capture and imprison method.
Me too. All these people jumping around in front of the White House? Pretty sure that’s going to enrage a few potential terrorists.

Oh dear god, it’s the weekend.
I usually spend these by staying up all Friday night, making last minute plans for the weekend in the early morning, running around for several hours and going to bed at a comparably normal time, as opposed to my usual 4am.
Let’s see what’s going on…hmm. The Flea Market, meeting a poet laureate, second half of a weekend music festival?...

Mm well, today has been somewhat productive.
We have a white toy poodle now, and named her “Molly”. She’s pretty friendly. We don’t know much about her history, other than her coming from an animal hoarder in Arkansas.
Aaand I’m actually starting to get somewhat productive now. My taxes will be done on time, and I’m not quite spending lots of spare time on the...
